Demo: XFA to PDF

A couple of months ago, we announced a new product in an interview on Dzone. Today, we are proud to present a first demo:

You can try this demo for yourself on http://demo.itextsupport.com/xfademo/ using your own files or some of the files that were used in the video.

Don't use files such as datasheet.pdf (taken from chapter 6 of the iText book). That's an interactive form based on AcroForm technology. Forms like this are already fully supported by iText, and they are completely different from forms built using the XML Forms Architecture (XFA).
To test the new iText functionality, you need examples such as xfa_movies.pdf or xfa_filled_in.pdf from chapter 8 of the book. You can test with static XFA forms such as jobreq.pdf or with dynamic XFA forms such as po.pdf.

Please be aware of the fact that the functionality isn't finished yet. This is the prototype of a new product, not the finished product! You're always welcome to provide feedback using the feedback button in the demo application. If you want to be kept up-to-date regarding the evolution of the XFA to PDF functionality, we invite you to subscribe on the betali.st for XFA2PDF.
