Today somebody brougth Jee's blog to my attention.
This blog contains two posts about using iText:

• How to create an in-memory PDF report and send as an email attachment using iText and Java
  The goal is to generate PDF reports on the fly and send them off to the client without storing them as files on disk. The blog post contains a working code sample in Java and a reference to a C# example.
• How to use and not use iText and jFreeChart
  A quest to find the best way to use JFreeChart and iText to draw charts. The final code sample uses the same techniques as described in iText in Action.
